New Zealand injects Pfizer Vaccine

UMMATIMES - On Saturday, February 20, 2021, Zealand started an injection of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine. Earlier on Friday a group of medical professionals in the City of Auckland received an injection of the corona virus vaccine.

“Today, we are taking the first steps of the largest immunization program in our history. For the first stage, we will immunize officers in border areas. This is a first step to protect those in Aotearoa, ”said Ashley Bloomfield.

Priority for the injection of the corona virus vaccine will be given to border guard officers and workers in Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ). Said Ashley Bloomfield, New Zealand's Health Minister.

New Zealand is targeting to be able to inject the corona virus vaccine in 5 million citizens in the country in one full year.
