Thailand Reports 3,058 New Covid-19 Cases



UMMATIMES - Thailand reported the addition of 3,058 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday. Of these new cases, as many as 459 people were infected in prisons or remand centers and the rest were the general public.

With this addition, there have been a total of 181,919 positive cases during the third wave to hit Thailand since April 1.

The number of deaths also increased by 22 on Friday, bringing the total to 1,483 during the third wave. Meanwhile, COVID-19 patients who have recovered have increased by 4,094 people in the last 24 hours. During the third wave, the number of recovered patients in Thailand has reached 148,984 people.

Overall, since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of cases in Thailand has reached 210,782 with a cure rate of 176,410 and 1,577 deaths.
