Vietnam Reports 220 New Cases of Covid-19
Vietnam reported the addition of 220 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, state media reported. The new cases include three Vietnamese who returned home via the southern border.
UMAMTIMES - With the additions, Vietnam has a total of 13,947 positive cases since the start of the pandemic. Vietnam's Ministry of Health reported that 5,684 patients had recovered, with the addition of 138 today.
Local health authorities confirmed the addition of one more case of Covid-19 death, bringing the total to 70 people. The 70th death case was a 61-year-old woman suffering from comorbid diseases, namely high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.
So far, Vietnam has injected 2.5 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, of which 133,843 people have received two doses of the vaccine.
