The message was conveyed by the Saudi Ambassador Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan when meeting with the Qatari ruler.

Qatar-Saudi relations have improved since the two countries signed a reconciliation agreement earlier this year to end their political rift.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Egypt cut diplomatic and trade ties with Qatar in 2017.

They accuse Doha of supporting terrorist groups, a charge Qatar vehemently denies.
