Special Session of Japan's Parliament Dec. 6 Discuss Possible 100,000 Yen Subsidy

On December 6, 2021, an extraordinary session of the Japanese parliament will begin.

Ummatimes - The assembly will discuss the addition of the 2021 fiscal year budget, including the possibility that every citizen in Japan will get a 100,000 yen subsidy back to help live life hit by the corona pandemic in the coming year.

"The government and the ruling party have begun to coordinate the Extraordinary Diet session to discuss the 2021 additional budget," said a politician source, Friday (12/11/2021).

The purpose of the special session was to prepare aid funds for the community, especially those whose lives were slumped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Support for PM Fumio Kishida's second volume has now risen to 48 percent and those against it have fallen to 18.8 percent.

The ruling party's Executive Cabinet approval rating change revealed on November 12 that more and more people are supporting the current government.

The session of the parliamentary special session will last about 2 weeks.

Aims to set additional budgets to support economic measures, such as "benefit equivalent to 100,000 yen" helping people's lives, as a result of the coronavirus.

The implementation of the second subsidy of 100,000 yen is likely to be implemented in 2022.
