Starbucks employees in America are obliged to inject the Corona Virus Vaccine

Starbucks Corp in the United States will impose mandatory rules for immunization against the corona virus vaccine on its employees or must undergo routine coronavirus tests every week. This rule is to comply with the regulations of the Federal Government.

The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has determined that starting February 9, 2022, large companies in the United States must require their employees to inject the coronavirus vaccine or have a weekly coronavirus test. The reason is, the Covid-19 variant of Omicron is currently spreading very quickly throughout the United States.

A source at Starbucks said the company currently has no plans to close its cafes as a result of the spread of omicron. Earlier in the first quarter of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic forced Starbucks to temporarily close up to half of its stores in the United States, with some outlets only serving take-away or drive-thru purchases.
Starbucks in the United States is estimated to have about 220,000 employees. The company must report the immunization status of their employees' coronavirus vaccines by January 10, 2022. If Starbucks employees choose not to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, they are responsible for conducting OSHA-approved tests and submitting the results.

Previously last year, a number of Starbucks products could not be served to consumers due to supply disruptions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This condition is experienced by many other restaurants.
